  • Rs 565 National Park entry fee + crazy Rs 700 event surcharge 🙁
  • a quality souvenir t-shirt,
  • race number & pins,
  • certificate,
  • checkpoint food and water,
  • post-race recovery food,
  • Transport to start (+irregular shuttles from finish),
  • Medical support

The entry fees are similar to comparable races in Asia. They are higher for foreigners than locals so that we can maximise local participation by providing some subsidised places for local runners. This is so that we can try to maximise participation, grow the sport, and find new world champions.Entry fee for local / Nepali runners.

For Nepali runners, it includes:

  • Rs 56 Shivapuri National Park entry fee,
  • Bus transportation from Kathmandu / Patan to the start,
  • race number & pins,
  • certificate,
  • checkpoint food and water,
  • post-race recovery meal,
  • T-shirt – if you want to save money you can take no t-shirt and save Rs 500.

Different prices? Nepal has a two-tier cost system for foreigners, noticeably for flight tickets, monuments, MRI scans, park entrance fees and so on, and so on – it’s annoying but we’re doing it too be able to increase entry and cover scholarships for less financially well-off runners. Foreign visitors are charged fee less than they might expect to pay at home. We hope you will find the fee very reasonable for a small, enjoyable race with a lot of volunteers.
